It's New! Coming Soon!
Hi All!
For a good while now, I've been throwing around an idea in my head that I just can't contain any longer. As a logical extension of my joy for playing and teaching the piano, I'd like to offer a Piano Society where like minded amateur pianists can come together and practice performing in front of an active audience.
Also, since there doesn't seem to be much in the way of amateur piano societies about, why not start one?
Since the inception of the Three Ravens Piano Society is only in its infancy, I'd like to offer the Three Ravens Piano Studio as the place where it be held.
Each member brings in a piece which they would like to perform in front of everyone, followed by an encouraging discussion amongst peers. I feel this would be a great way to gain a better insight for pianists as to how they sound to other people, as well as good practice for public performance.
Not only this, but food and refreshments will be served. Down the line we could even allocate a certain theme to aim towards for the following sessions.
LOCATION: Killara
DURATION: Depending on the amount of members -but we'd aim for at least 10-15 minutes to listen and discuss each members' performance
MEMBERSHIP FEE: None yet! Depending on how much momentum we gather and how many members, there may be a fee to cover refreshment costs.
If you are interested, please use the contact form below and let's get this started!
